Caspar's Cabin is in a beautifully peaceful location. In the Spreewald Biosphere Reserve, surrounded by forest, lies the wooden house, which was built with clay and ecological materials. Here you can relax, sit by the fire, go for walks and excursions, watch the birds in the large garden, cook delicious meals and unwind together.
Wood, loam and linseed oil colors with natural pigments = breathable indoor climate. No pollutants, neutralised electromagnetic pollution and good acoustics.
Pleasantly cool in summer, nice and warm feet in winter. Also suitable for lying on.
Relax while viewing the garden activity; birds, butterflies, insects and the weather.
Transitions to the forest. With a vegetable garden (for guests to cultivate), flower meadow at the back, lawn with a fire pit at the front.
At the front of the house, there's a clear view over a field of the sunset (Caspar David Friedrich perspective).
With mineral-coloured glass.
Smoking is allowed here, but not in the house.
With a traditional stove, 2 electric cooking ring and 2 gas rings. The kitchen furniture comes from the legendary ORWO film laboratory.
Thermionic amplifier via Bluetooth with excellent sound (clay walls + Bose).
Relax with a comfortable view of the wood-burning stove, windows and TV (Apple TV/ChromeCast).
Skylight, giant globe, forest view.
Focus together as a group or spread out to work on your own. WLAN, printer, literature available.
A bed of 1.6m wide for two. Cathedral roof look and amorphous wood panelling.
Ideal reading posture, good light, spread out in a small space, it's all there.
The same left, but to the garden directon.
